Oswego Installs Wheelchair Charging Ports

Last week, wheelchair charging ports went up in public spaces around Oswego. The hookups are universal and can fit many types of motorized wheelchairs.

Mayor Billy Barlow said he "came across the idea while talking to advocates for better accessibility. At a cost of around $10,000, crews installed four stations."

The four stations are located at city hall, Breitbeck, East Side and Veterans' Parks.
