Syracuse Orange's Bowl Destination Will Be Decided On Sunday!

On Sunday, the final AP College Football Poll was announced. The Syracuse Orange, under third year coach Dino Babers, finished at number 18. That is the football team’s highest ranking since they finished 14th in 2001! Congratulations!

So when will the 9-3 Syracuse Orange find out when and where they will be playing their first bowl game in five years? SU will learn its destination this Sunday when postseason bowl matchups are announced. This will happen after the College Football Playoff semifinals and the six New Year’s bowl games have been announced.

Based on its record, Syracuse’s best scenario is the Camping World Bowl in Orlando, Florida. However, if the Camping World Bowl chooses a different team, the Pinstripe Bowl played at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx could probably be their destination. There is always a chance that a different bowl may emerge as the team's destination too. Either way, congratulations to the Syracuse Orange and coach Dino Babers on a very successful 2018 season!
