The weather in Syracuse always seems to be somewhat unpredictable. One minute temperatures are below zero and the wind is blustery and the next day the sun is out with blue skies. So while we await to see what actually happens during the winter storm this weekend. This is what we expect to occur as of right now.
Snow is supposed to start falling in the afternoon Saturday and continue through Sunday. At peak times during the storm, snow could be falling at 1-2 inches per hour making an over all possibility of 1-2 feet of snow.
A windchill of 20 below zero combined with winds up to 35 mph, constitutes dangerous conditions and leads to a potential of frostbite on Monday morning.
Bundle up, stay warm, and try your best to prepare for harsh weather conditions this weekend!
