If you have ever walked down Syracuse City sidewalks after a snow storm, you know that they are rarely ever clear enough to actually walk on. Well luckily that is going to change!
The Syracuse Common Council has officially hired a local company to start clearing snowy sidewalks in Syracuse. There are specific targeted main road sidewalks that will be cleared by JSK Snow Services paid by the city. Clearing will begin on February 1st. "Sidewalks on the list to be cleared include four miles of South Salina Street, almost three miles of James Street, and just over two miles of West Genesee Street."
A lot of the main roads will be covered but don't forget to keep the sidewalks clear in from of your home and or business!
