Tyus Battle may have walked of the court in his Syracuse uniform for the last time when the Orange Men lost to Baylor in the NCAA tournament on Thursday night.
A source close to the junior said that Tyus Battle will leave Syracuse to enter the NBA draft. After last season when Battle entered his name in the NBA draft, but pulled out to return to school, it may come as no surprise that he will choose to enter this year.
Battle has led Syracuse in scoring these last two seasons averaging 17.2 points per game. Battle is the No. 55 pick in a mock draft by The Athletic and undrafted in the NBADreft.net mock draft.
After his last game Battle stated: “I think about it every day. Coming here as a freshman, I didn’t know what to expect. My time here so far has been amazing. Some big games. It’s been a roller-coaster. I’ve seen it all and it’s been a great learning experience.’’
