If you are like me, you love the springtime when the birds start their chirping and nesting. I love looking for robins, blue jays, and cardinals in my yard. Well one lucky man in Tennessee got a chance to spot, and photograph, a very rare sight: a yellow cardinal!
Jimmy Tucker, who runs a photography studio and is President of the Knoxville Chapter of the Tennessee Ornithological Society, sat for 4 1/2 days on a neighbor’s porch to get the picture after he was alerted to the rare cardinal. Luckily for him, he got the picture!
According to National Geographic, the chances of spotting a yellow cardinal is one in a million! Jimmy was that “one!” He took a few pictures of the cardinal. Check out the news snippet below to see the amazing and beautiful pictures!
