So last week we gave you a list of some of the more guilty (unhealthy?) pleasures you could eat at the Great New York State Fair. As decadent as those were, there is also some very “different” delicacies you may want to try when you venture out to the fair this week. Let’s take a look at some of those items:
•Camel Snackers at Rickey’s Jerky in the Horticultural Building: For $20, you can get a bag of dried meat jerky made of....you guessed it....CAMEL! They also have other “different” types of jerky meat...if you dare!
•Gator Mac and Cheese at Chester’s Gator and Tater on the Midway: Macaroni and Cheese accompanied by Cajun alligator meat! Chewy! $13.
•Ostrich Jerky at Stix and Things near the Poultry Building: Wow, more jerky made out of different dried meat! For $3.75, try this jerky made out of dried ostrich! Interesting!
•Shark Kebab at Chester’s Gator and Tater: Chester has been busy dreaming up new forms of food, huh? For $11 you can try this unusual seafood offering.
There you have it! Some “different” delicacies for you to try! Have fun and eat well!
