David Muir Purchases A $7 Million Historic Home In Skaneateles

Thomas Wolfe published a novel in 1940 called “You Can’t Go Home Again.” Well, apparently you can! ABC News Anchor, David Muir, who grew up in Central New York, has purchased a home in Skaneateles for $7 million according to deeds published with the Onondaga County Clerk’s Office.

Muir, who got his start at WTVH 5 in Syracuse, purchased the home because it was an opportunity to save an historic home. Plus Muir said that “It’s always been my dream to spend more time back home with my family.”

The home has 6 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, 3 bathrooms, and a fireplace. The house sits on 6 acres of Skaneateles Lake and is about 4,300 square feet. It is a one family home. Well, yes, David, you can come back home and when you do, “Welcome back!”
