Jason Aldean released his highly-anticipated, first-ever duet with his wife on Friday (January 9).

Brittany Aldean joined her superstar husband on “Easier Gone,” one of 20 tracks that appears on Jason’s upcoming studio record, and one of three new songs to release from the project in time to kick off the weekend. Charles Kelley, Josh Kerr, Dave Haywood and Jimmy Robbins teamed up to write “Easier Gone.” The duet, along with the two other tracks that arrived on Friday, “offer fans a deeper look into the emotional breadth” of the new album, Songs About Us, states a press release.

“You were easier gone/ You were easier outta this town/ Hey, I almost had this lettin’ you go thing figured out/ Yeah, it was easy to lie/ To myself on a Friday night/ When I wasn’t face to face with how good you look moving on/ Yeah, you were easier gone.”

The reigning Academy of Country Music Artist of the Decade also delivered “Her Favorite Color” and “What’s A Little Heartache.” Jason’s newest tracks to debut from Songs About Us join previously-released “Help You Remember,” “Hard To Love You,” “Lovin’ Me Too Long,” and “How Far Does A Goodbye Go,” which features Brittany in the retro, 70s-inspired music video.

“It means the world when one of my songs helps someone through a hard time—or celebrates their best moments,” Jason said in a statement when he announced album details in November. “This album is about all of that—the highs, the lows, and everything in between. Every track started with a real story or feeling, and together we turned those experiences into music. In the end, I realized this album is about all of us. These are songs about us.”

Jason is nominated in multiple categories at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, which will return this spring to Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Find the list of country artists nominated at the genre-spanning show here.
