Syracuse Police are investigating another bank robbery. This time the Solvay Bank on South Warren Street was hit at about noon on Thursday.

Police say the suspect walked into the bank and passed a threatening note to a teller. No weapon was displayed and the bandit got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He was last seen headed south on Warren Street and then west on Fayette Street.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 35 years old, about five feet seven inches tall and around 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a navy pea coat, with a multi- colored scarf.

There were no injuries during the robbery, but anyone with information about the suspect is being asked to call Syracuse Police at 442-5222. They say all calls will be ekpt confidential..
