The public can get an closer look at one of Central New York's biggest producers of renewable energy.  A tour Sunday at the Fenner Renewable Education Education Center showcase the Fenner Wind Farm as well as some displays of other kinds of renewable energy.  The tour will even include an up-close examination of one of the giant wind blades.

The Spring Pie Festival and tour is Sunday from 2 to 5 pm at the Fenner Wind Farm, on Fenner East Road in Fenner.  Admission is $10  for adults, $5 for children, and a maximum $25 for families.  Everyone gets a piece of pie, zucchini bread or other treat with admission, and Assemblyman Bill Magee will be on hand to auction a number of pies and other goods.  All the money will go towards the Center's educational projects into renewable energy.
