Studies Show Women Benefit From Sleeping Next To Dogs

Whoever said "diamonds are a girl's best friend" obviously never met a girl with a dog.

One thing that most people can agree on is that sleeping puppies and dogs are adorable, and that cuddling and sleeping with one makes for an even better night. Researchers at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY conducted a study that finds women sleep better next to a dog than cats and even their partners!

According The New York Post, 962 women living in the United States were interviewed, out of those 962 women, 55% slept in bed with at least one dog, 31% slept with at least one cat, and 57% slept next to a human partner.

Results showed that both humans and cats were equally disruptive to a women's sleep, and that dogs provided more comfort and feeling of security.

If you're one of those women who needs their beauty sleep, or if your girl wants to nap, it's best to just let her cuddle with the pup. They may snore a little, but this study shows that they make better bed buddies than cats and humans.
