Nascar is so much fun.  If you have never been to a Nascar race, let me tell you about it.  I was never too impressed with Nascar until I went to my first live race.  I went to the Poconos and have since attended a race at the Glen.(Watkins Glen).  When you arrive you will be amazed at the number of people that actually go to these races.  Men (lots of men!), women, kids and families.  They have like a min-fair just before the race for about two hours.  Some of the drivers are at their booths signing autographs and you can buy memorabilia.  If you are already a Nascar fan, you probably already have a collection of your favorites drivers things. (Bobbleheads, mini cars, jackets, stickers and much more.  When it was time for the race to start...the announcer hollers start your engines.  At that point I became a true Nascar fan.  I will never forget how I could feel the rumbling under my feet when the 50 Nascars started up.  It blew me away.  Bring sunscreen as it can get hot in the stands.  It also helps, particularly at Watkins Glen to rent a headset to hear drivers talking to each other.  The Glen is a curvy track, so you watch from a curve.  At the Poconos it is an oval track where you can see the whole track.  They both have interesting points. it is a huge party. Everybody is pretty friendly and are united as fans.  Oh man, I think I am talking myself into going to the race this Sunday! Go Jeff Gordon!!!  Go Earnhardt!!! -Whoo-whoo!!! - Becky
